Not exactly. I'm pointing out that the horrific violence in the Levant is the inevitable and inescapable result of forcefully creating a nation on the homes of people who have been living in a place for generations.

This is why I refer to Jabotinsky's quote so often, because it's at least honest. "This [violently and forcefully displacing people, regardless of how they feel about it] is our Arab policy. Not what it should be, but what it is. Whether we admit it or not."

This is repugnant, of course, but Zionism is repugnant. That's why, when I simply hold up a mirror to it, when I quote, verbatim, the words of the leaders, I have all these morons in my comments claiming that I'm being anti-semitic or that I'm lying or that I support Hamas. Or, my personal favourite, "I appreciate your deep and thoughtful research, but why are you sharing it?"

Literally I'm just saying hey, guys, this is what the people who created Israel said and thought. Here's the proof, in their own words. But, of course, people want to see themselves as the good guys, even when they're not, and so they freak out.

And two things on the people who judge all Palestinians by the ones who talk about driving all Jews into the sea.

1) Palestinians are judged by that standard!! I see people using Hamas' most violent rhetoric to justify the killing ofPalestinians every single day.

2) You are ignoring the obvious power-imbalance here. When a slave, like Nat Turner say, says that he wanted to kill all the white people in Southampton County, do you judge him by the same standards as the slave owners who have driven him to this "extremism"? Or do you recognise that the slaveowners’ actions are the direct cause of his view, and that before you even address his comments, you should be addressing the oppression he faces?

To be clear, I can understand why the white people in Southampton County so brutally put down Turner's rebellion, I think the way he and his men killed white women and children was appalling. But whatever you do to him as a result, it's still crystal clear who was at the greater fault.
