Not just black criminality, black inferiority, black laziness, black drug addiction, on and on. Black people are presented as inferior or dangerous in all kinds of ways.

And those beliefs broadly speaking, are racism.

Without them, it's hard to think of a basis for slavery or segregation or lynchings. The problems is, to reduce those beliefs, the people who hold them will need to really stop and examine them. Not everybody has the self-awareness to do this.
