I'll tell you what is a perspective though! How about; "the most experienced public defender in Supreme Court history"? Jackson's background as a public defender her gives her an insight into how the law affects real people's lives, especially poor people's lives, hat almost all the other justices lack. Wouldn't this have been a great angle to lead with?
I'm happy to see representation on the court. I'm happy to see more black people. I just resent the framing that suggests she got the job because she's a black woman and not because she's supremely qualified.
