Oh for goodness sake. I'm not comparing child molestation and drag shows. Now who is deliberatly misinterpreting? I've been to drag shows. They're fun, "risque" adult entertainment that isn't appropritate for children. And certainly not, I'd have thought you'd agree, an educational tool to help children learn about the LGBT community.
But again, I'm not sure why you have this laser-like focus on drag shows. Out of seven examples and 1000+ words, I devoted precisely one sentence to drag queens behaving inappropriately.
So allow me to modify my original question, now that you've admitted that's what you're doing; why do you feel compelled to trivialise this in any way?
I don’t lay awake at night thinking about teachers buying their own school supplies. But I recognise that it‘s a problem. I certainly wouldn’t set out to trivialise it. And, again, I‘d have thought you’d agree, it’s less significant than confusing children about sexually appropriate behaviour from adults.
