Oh God, this isn't news unfortunately. It's painfully obvious that plenty of writers, some right here on Medium, don't care at all about progress.

The challenge is to think critically about what you're reading and ask yourself whether and how the advice in it might lead to a better world.

As I wrote in a previous article, racism has become an industry. And as such, there are people who would rather keep it around and keep profiting from it (socially and financially), than end it and have to find a new schtick.
