Oh, my bad. What do you call the murder and rape of innocent civilians? What do you call an organisation whose founding charter calls for the extermination of Jews? Not Israelis, Jews.

It's nothing to do with historical knowledge, which I have plenty of. It's to do with being able to hold more than one idea in your head at a time.

If you condemn Israel's treatment of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, I agree with you. If you think the British government never had any right to hand over a chunk of Palestine for the creation of a Jewish state, fine. If you think the way to remedy any of this is by slaughtering innocent civilians (or if you can't differentiate between the actions of a government and the actions of the civilians who live in that country), you have nonbusiness talking about this or any subject.

By that logic, whatever country you live in, you're likely guilty of worse than anything Israel has ever done.

Obviously Hamas isn't woke. If you think that's what I was saying in the article, you either didn't read it, or you have the reading comprehension of a four-year-old.
