Oooh, a book?

…declared independence. Certainly some Palestinians left in fear of being the victims of atrocities. Perhaps the most well known atrocity was Deir Yassin, but a recent book presents comprehensive evidence that Deir Yassin was nothing like the atrocity Arab leaders claimed, and the deceit in their false claims backfired and caused many more Palestinians to flee.
Many Israelis are descendants of Arabs who stayed when Israel declared independence.

Oooh, a book? Well then, if it's in a book, and contradicts all the other knowledge we have about Deir Yassin, I guess it must be true1 I guess these IDF veterans from 1948 haven't read the book, or they wouldn’t be describing the massacres and rapes that they themselves took part in. If only more people knew about this book!!!
Also, I'm guessing this is a no? You don't have any evidence of "cherry-picking"?
