Right. And in Israel, the Nation State Law adopted in 2018 states that only Jews have the right of national self-determination.
Palestinians living in the West Bank have no say either. They can't even walk down certain streets in towns that are ostensibly on their land while Jews can. They live under military law while Jews, who again, shouldn't even be there, live under Israeli law. The military police turn a blind eye to their crimes while punishing Arabs.
No, my view is not twisted. I'm actually looking at the whole thing.
And no, Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, and almost the entire international community has approved a resolution, that has been sat in the UN for decades, that outlines a two-state solution. The best news, all it requires is that Israel follow international law. Respect the 1967 borders, rein in the settlers, that's it.
The resolution enjoys almost universal support. the last time it was voted on (2022) it received 153 votes in favour, again, including Palestine, only 10 abstentions, and only 9 votes against. And of those nine, there were only 2 nations more significant than Micronesia. I'll let you guess which 2.
This lie that the Palestinians don't want peace or are unwilling to negotiate is just that: a lie. Because, of course, it's the only way to hide the fact that the Israelis aren't willing to negotiate in good faith. Even though Netanyahu has admitted that he won't allow a Palestinian state "on his watch" decades ago.
