Unfortunately, you've already lost me with the above quote. When you say "being white", do you mean enacting whatever behaviours which you define as "whiteness"? Or do you mean having white skin? Because while you might be able to make the case for the former (depending on whatever personal definition you use for "White"), the latter makes absolutely no sense
This is exactly the problem I'm talking about. Terms like "whiteness" are so embarrassingly imprecise that even though I'm genuinely trying to understand you, I can't be sure what you're trying to say. I want to talk about racism. I do so regularly. But if we don't talk about it in a universally comprehensible way, then we're just wasting everybody's time.
Oh, and please, please point out where I even vaguely suggest that black people invented racism to guilt trip white people. What a bizarre claim.
