That's not true. Don't try to speak for "whites". If it was true for you, then guess what; you were already racist.
You haven't addressed that by reading a book or noticing that you have white skin. And black people don't need you to "care". Most black people just want you to stop treating us like we're any different to anybody else. Some, who have been systemically disadvantaged by racism, want attention paid to their plight instad of focused on microagressions in Starbucks and millionaire hustlers like DiAngelo.
