The problem is I don't think it achieves this. It makes huge assumptions about these kids based on one variable, and then claims that these kids are at this huge disadvantage in life because of it. It's pretty bluntly racist when you think about iit.
Using myself as an example, I'd have been at the very back of that class. Every question applied to me. Yet I was one of the brightest, most popluar, athletic kids in my class. All of these are privileges too, and made my life much easier than many of my white classmates.
Most of the kids in my class would have laughed at the idea that my life would be harder than theirs because I'm black.
It's just not sensible or valuable to teach children that this single variable is going to overshadow their whole lives, and has been shown to teach them not to believe in themselves.
