The very fact that you wrote out all those other words but didn’t write out the n-word makes my point.

Obviously I’m not trying to say that there are no slurs for other groups of people, whether by race or sexuality or religion or whatever other arbitrary difference we can find. That’s clearly not the case.

I’m saying that the n-word holds a unique spot in the public consciousness and that it uniquely demeans black people. The other words you mention are offensive, but they don’t compare as far as impact is concerned.
