There is obviously food in Gaza. But there equally obviously isn't enough food in Gaza. Do you think everybody in an entire country starves when there is a famine? Come on man.

And I'm not saying the world should be thankful to Hamas. I'm saying that the hostages are obviously treated fairly well, even better than some of the other people living in Gaza. Hamas is obviously controlling aid there. Add this to the evidence that Hamas doesn't care about the people in Gaza. I'm saying that it seems logical that the hostages are being kept in civilian homes as part of an effort to keep them somewhat comfortable.

And yes, I don't think it's really necessary to point out that a terrorist organisation is committing war crimes. Terrorism is, by definition, a war crime. I've never once justified them. And have criticised them many times. Can you say the same about Israel?

Have you even acknowledged, never mind criticised, the appalling brutality Israel is responsible for? And I'm talking after and before October 7th. Or do you close your eyes and tell yourself that all 2 million people in Gaza deserve it because they're all terrorists, even the women and children and elderly?

Do you recognise that Israel is committing war crimes? As every human rights organisation, including those within Israel, recognise? Or that any argument you could use to justify Israeli military action against Israel could be used to justify Palestinians military action against Hamas?

It's so sad how often Israel defenders talk to me as if I support Hamas. Because you're too blind to understand that somebody could apply basic moral standards to Israel and Hamas equally.
