There’s a lot of daylight between saying something that could be (but obviously wasn’t) perceived as threatening, and threatening somebody’s life.

I called Christian an asshole because what he said was clearly inappropriate given the situation. But clearly from the context of the situation, Amy didn’t feel threatened at all, never mind in fear for her life.
