This is one of the most fascinating and infuriating aspects of wokeness. Their entire ethos seems to built on the idea that everybody who isn't both white and male is weak and feeble and needs constant protection. That we're too childish to bear nasty words in any context, too incompetent to succeed without handouts, too stupid to be able to think and speak for ourselves.

Every achievement is tied to some arbitrary marker of identity instead of just being recognised in its own right.

I think you have it absolutely right, they take all the weakness withing themselves, and project it onto the rest of society to validate it.
