This is the sad thing. I think there are a lot of reasonable people in the trans community being spoken for by a lot of toxic, radicalised people online. A surprising number of whom aren't even trans. They've just decided that pushing a particular agenda, regardless of whether women have very good reason to object, makes them virtuous people on the "right side of history."

As you say, trans activists and their "allies" show absolutely staggering disdain for the safety, privacy and rights of women. It's been shocking to see. I'm just clinging to the hope that there are enough honest and reasonable people out there, willing to engage honestly and reasonably, that it's worth making honest and reasonable arguments.
