This is totally fair enough. I don't like the framing of "ally" myself. It always strikes me as an identity one clains to be seen as "one of the good ones" rather than an indication of any actual action taken.

We can completely flatten the category of "ally" into the question; do you have the integrity to do the right thing when you see injustice, even if it costs you something?
