This is what I always find myself thinking when I hear the argument that trans women are the same as women because some women can't get pregnant either. There's a total conflation with the costume and the biological reality in some people's mind.

"There isn't one concrete thing that 100% of women have in common, therefore, a man's claim to womanhood is just as legitimate as a post menopausal woman's."

The decision to appropriate somebody else's identity rather than celebrating their own is the entire reason this has all become so toxic and reality-denying.
