This isn't the point. The point is that Lia was a thoroughly mediocre male swimmer and is an absolutely dominant swimmer now that she's competing against females because she has an advantage over the other female swimmers. It's incredible the amount of denialism there is around this simple fact.
The bar can't be "she didn't break NCAA records," if you're trying to decide whether she has an advantage. If I took performance enhancing drugs tomorrow and completed against top male athletes, I'd still lose. But it would still be unfair. It's really this simple.
