This was sarcasm. The vast majority of Afghans are very unhappy to have the Taliban back and were very happy to see them go.

The BBC (outside the "American news mill") is doing a fairly good job of keeping the horrors happening in Afghanistan, particularly to women and girls, in the spotlight.

You seem so proud of the fact that you don't rely on American media (neither do I by the way), but you don't seem to use any other media either. You hardly need to go digging to learn that life in Afghanistan improved in pretty much every single measure over the past 20 years.
