To be fair, if you're only noticing signs of election manipulation now, you really have been politically apathetic.

The media have been manipulating people on both sides of the aisle for as long as they've existed, and the FBI proved that the Russians interfered to help Trump win in 2016.

Also, as loud and annoying as certain radical liiberal voices are, I don't think you can really make the case that Twitter has oppressed Trump. Sadly all most social media platforms care about is that you say something that makes enough people cheer or feel angry.
