To each their own, I totally agree. I'm not trying to be the meditation police😄
These thoughts aren't about establishing some sort of orthodoxy, but rather thinking about what we're doing when we sit down to meditate.
Is meditation supposed to be calm? Is it supposed to be easy? How seriously should we take the initial decision to meditate when the urge to do something else arises?
For most people, certainly for me, what feels natural is often taking the easiest path when faced with a problem. Puzzling about these things is my way of avoiding that bad habiit.
