True, but I’m not arguing that the Starbucks example is the way forward. As I already said, I'm not arguing that a weaker candidate should get the job over a stronger one. But I disagree that employers don't find themselves in a position where there are numerous suitable candidates. Having been an employer myself, I've found myself in this situation numerous times. If there's a clear best candidate, of course that candidate should be selected. I'm confident that black people aren't so fundamentally inferior that they'll never be in the running under these circumstances.

p.s. just a quick note. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but between replying to other comments and writing, I really don't have time to read through and respond point by point to super lengthy replies, never mind for supplemental reading material 😅
