😅 Well, I guess it wouldn't be an article about empathy towards men without somebody making lazy generalisation like these. I mean, come on, I literally spell this nonsense out in the artivcle.
Each man (and certainly not each teenage boy) cannot be held responsible for all violence committed throughout history by a man. It's an embarrassingly brain dead position to argue otherwise.
There are very important discussions to be had about male dominated crimes. I completely agree. And men have committed the majority of some of the most heinous crimes. No argument.
But that doesn't change the fact that many men have done none of these things and that many women have. And lazily blaming men as a whole for them is simplistic, utterly unhelpful in solving the problem, and gives men like Tate an easy opportunity to target young men who are sick of being attacked for things they have nothing to do with.
