Well, I’m in no way defending the tactics of the right in this case, but I wouldn’t characterise CRT as a good thing and I understand opposition to it.

CRT isn’t scientific, far from it in fact. It has serious flaws, and many of the terrible ideas popping up in schools are fairly logical progressions from them.
