😅 Well, strange as it might seem, I suspect there are things happening on the internet that you're not aware of. Especially as the internet tends to keep us all in our little bubbles unless we make a concerted effort to break out of them.

All of the claims made in the article are substantiated by links. Feel free to explore them if you like. If you want more examples of anything, Google is right there.

I have LGBT friends too. I'm well aware that the behaviour I'm describing in the article doesn't represent the LGBT community in general. I state that explicitly in the article. But, as I also state in the article, for the vast majority of people who don't have LGBT friends, the behaviour of these people, which is extremely widespread on the internet, is coming to be seen as representative.

As I said earlier, the internet tends to keep people in their bubbles. It's meaningless for us to argue about how many trans women "go overboard." But what's for sure is that a) those trans women (it is primarily trans women and not trans men making unreasonable demands and behaving in sexually predatory ways, I wonder why that is) are affecting public opinion.

And b) this wouldn't be an issue if the trans community made even some attempt to counter the people going "overboard" instead of sticking their fingers in their ears and shouting "that never happens." And attacking everybody who says, yes, actually it does.
