Well, the information that wasn't allowed was that Kyle was in a bar with some alleged Proud Boys, allegedly because his previous lawyer set it up. He's also throwing up some White Power hand gestures.
Obviously I think that's repulsive. But the trial isn't about whether he's a racist. And especially considering that he killed three white people, I can see how it's not considered relevant.
But that said, I couldn't agree with you more. The fact that the law allows this is insane. But you can't change the law mid-trial because you don't like the guy who's on the stand. The laws are what need to be addressed.
