What's so frustrating about talking to you is that it doesn't feel as if you're talking to me. I had a look at your comment history, and as well as realising that you have a fetish for arguing with black people about racism, I realised that you're doing exactly what I'm assumed. You read people like Rebecca Stevens, whose writing I absolutely deplore (I mean truly, I get furious every time I see one of her idiotic "articles" recommended at the bottom of one of mine), and you treat me as if I think the same way she does. This DESPITE the body of my work which is easily available to you.

Take the claim I've highlighted. I wrote 1104 words, just a few weeks ago, arguing precisely against judging arguments based on the colour of the person making them. Yet you feel the need to tell me as if you’re educating me. You even clapped (much to my amusement) for one of MY RESPONSES on one of Rebecca's articles when I said the same thing to HER! I'm not judging your arguments based on the colour of your skin. I've said that clearly numerous times. Yet you continue to reset to the same accusation as if I haven't said anything because you're so stuck on the idea that black people must think like this. It's infuriating.

I asked you if you had black friends solely because your view of black people is so caricatured and simplistic that it's clear you don't see us as ordinary, complex, multilayered, human beings with a variety of nuanced views. When you said you didn't have black friends, I didn't jump up and down like I'd won some kind of argument. Friendship with black people isn't a requirement for legitimacy, it just confirmed what I already suspected; your image of black people is formed by a few interactions you've had online, and it's so ingrained, that even when you meet somebody (me) who doesn't conform to the stereotypes in your head, you keep trying to shoehorn me into them.

No you didn't "correct" my Hollywood disparities claim, you misinterpreted some very simple statistics, claimed that Hispanics are white using data that have nothing to do with acting (if you think in the most visual field imagineable, Hispanics and white peopole are all the same then you're being wilfully ignorant) and I let it go because at least you'd made the effort. I'm not sure what "evidence" you think you've presented or what it's evidence of. I notice that you ignored the question of what the "real racism" that you hate so much actually is.

You fail to take into account the historical impact of racial discrimination on the attitudes and standings of racial groups. You fail to consider why the Asian immigrants from wealthy countries like South Korea or Singapore or mainland China, all of which have world-beating education systems, so dramatically outpace Asian immigrants from Thailand and Cambodia or even areas of China without that same wealth. You see racial groups as monoloths and fail to see any nuance. That’s why your analysis is so simplistic. So you look at today's black immigrants and ask "well how come Nigerian immigrants succeed??" when I'VE ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGED THAT TODAY, SKIN COLOUR ISN"T AN INSURMOUNTABLE BARRIER TO SUCCESS.

In the article that started all othis, I specifically point out that black people receive certain advantages today. But of course, you'll only be satisfied if I say that skin colour doesn't affect a person's opportunity to succeed at all. You are wrong about this. I've already acknowledged, freely, that racism isn't the only factor in racial disparities. It's just that however many times I say it, you'll only be satisfied if I say racism doesn't affect the outcomes of racial groups at all. Again, you are wrong about this.

I can't believe that I'm still here repeating the same stuff to you in the hopes of convincing you of something you don't want to be convinced of. My faith in human nature is a liability sometimes unfortunately. As I said, all the way back whenever, there's never going to be anything I can say that you can't quibble with. That's just the way knowledge works. There are still people who swear blind that the Earth is flat. Try convincing one of them that it's round. Eventually you'd get frustrated with them too. It's not because you're wrong, it's because they're being wilfully obtuse. I spend far more time than other witers engaging with raders because I think that good-faith conversation is valuable. This isn't. Believe what you want. It’s weird that you claimed to be “disappointed” when I said that black people are all stupid and lazy and victims of their own victim mentality when that’s clearly what you desperately want to believe. And if you want to deny that, please, say one thing that suggests otherwise thats more substantial than “I hate ReAl raCISM.”
