Yeah, I can understand this point of view. I don't share it, but I do understand it. And I can completely understand if some trans people feel the same way.
But clearly, millions of women find the "misognynistic" jokes funny, millions of black people find the "racist" jokes funny, and millions of gay people find the "homophobic" jokes funny.
My argument isn't that the people who are offended are wrong to be. Nobody is wrong to be offended. It's that failing to recognise the double standard in how some people perceive offense is hyporitical.
If, for example, I roll around laughing at a whole bunch of anti-white jokes, but then flip out when somebody tells an anti-black joke, I can't pretend that my issue is racism. It's just racism against me.
