Yeah, I think that there's just a mindset that it doesn't matter how stupid or incoherent you're being as long as you're attacking the "oppressor".

And while they're enjoying there little moment of spitefulness and righteous outrage, they fail to notice that they're alienating everybody who might have been interested in helping them but isn't "in their tribe".

It's infuriatingly self destructive and short sighted.
