Yeah, this is true. But I think the real problem is just that there's a certain power in victimhood and some people don't want to give it up. Most of the people I know (or have heard of) who have real problems are much less angry and unreasonable. They're clear about their aims. They don't have the time or the energy to complain about nonsense.
It's the people who are looking for something to justify their own insecurity and anger who are the most unreasonable. And of course, they can never be satisfied. Because the real problem is within themselves.
