Yep, absolutely. I think the real tragedy of this whole situation is how trans Twitter has turned this into a battle against ordinary people who won't pretend they don't understand basic biology and won't ignore blatant abuse of people like Rowling. Most people are just as opposed to the religious Right's and the genuine TERFs' bigotry as anybody. But if the trans activists keep insisting that anybody who disagrees with them on certain issues hates trans people, they back reaasonable people into a corner.
