Yep, several dictators have killed more people than Hitler over the course of history. Even in fairly recent history. Stalin, for example, killed at least 6 million. That's why I specified "conflict."
The fact that this was a war rather than a genocide doesn't make the genocides any better. But it encompasses the full scale of death and destruction that Hitler is ultimately responsible for. A total of around 75 million people died in WWII. 40-50 million of those being civilians. None of that would have happened without Hitler.
Also, I didn't say that the Nuremberg laws called for the slaughter of the Jews. I said that they were e the legal framework for that slaughter. They were the justifications, put in place years before the killing actually started, that made the eventual slaughter possible.
