Yes, again this is true. It's true of every single country in the entire world. And in countries like Russia and China and North Korea, for more true than it is anywhere else. The question of degrees matters.

What would satisfy you ? An article that said:

"Here is a problem, but there's also a version of that problem here. And this is a problem. But it can be compared to that problem there. So let's not talk about the people dying in Ukraine because there's a psychopath in power in Russia. Because other countries aren't perfect either."

I actually spend a fair amount of time in this article writing about Trump's similar strategy of controlling people's reality. I'd have talked about it a great deal more if he was getting people killed in a foreign country.
