Yeah, it's difficult to tease all the trans stuff apart now that transgender has successfully co-opted the term transsexual. Despite my affinity for langage I object more to the casual dismissal of women as a protected category and the pure misogynistic vitriol I see directed at any women who dare object.

And I hate the fact that trans avtivists are so determined that everybody who doesn't embrace everything they say hates trans people, that they make reasonable, compassionate discussion all but impossible. Which *increases* the number of people who just dismiss them entirely. If you spend all your time insisting that people hate you, eventually, some number of them will believe you.

Nonbinary is such an incoherent concept that I honestly don't pay much attention. It's the new "goth" or "flower-child" or whatever.
