Yes, of course, I absolutely support all people who have been ethnically cleansed or forced to leave their homes having the right to return to them. I always find it interesting that the drop in Jewish population from these countries is always talked about without mentioning Aliyah, but yes! Of course! Did you seriously think this would be a difficult question? It's like so many of you Zionists simply can't fathom the concept of moral consistency.
Yes, I oppose atrocities committed against Jews. Yes, I oppose atrocities committed by Jews. Is that clear enough? The problem you guys have, at least in my experience, is that you agree with me on the first but vacillate on the second. And you don't like it when I point out this hypocrisy.
My main issue with the people currently alive in Israel is with the leaders, people like Netanyahu, and the settlers. And while, yes, there are obviously many innocent Israelis who are merely victims of circumstance, the same is true of ~100% of the Palestinians. So you'll excuse me if I think their claim to justice is more pressing.
I don't want anybody to suffer. I truly don't. Or even to be inconvenienced. But if you've built a society on the suffering, land-theft and murder of another group of people, if you've watched, impassive, as fanatics killed innocent families and/or drove them off their land, there might be a bit of piper-paying to do.
