Yes, this is what people always say, and yet look at the reality. Right now, the focus is on racism (and usually it's not even racism) instead of police brutality to such an extent that the problem is getting worse while the single largest organisation ever created to fight it steals money from donors and makes meaningless statements about white supremacy.

In theory we can focus on many things. But in practice we can barely focus on one. So priorities are important.
