You are a master (mistress?) of speaking in absolutes when what you're really giving is your opinion.
According to Elie Mystal, "whiteness" is synonymous with white people. According to Cristina Beltran, it's a political stance. According to Donald Moss, it's a malignant, parasitic-like condition. Why do you believe your personal opinion should be treated as the one true definition?
And I'm not glossing over Swedes and Finns not being considered white in America, I just don't know what you're talking about. There may have been a time when this was true, I know it was true for other "white" groups like the Irish and Italians for example, but today it's not. Which is why I asked you why you were talking about rulings that were settled decades ago.
And no, I don't glide over white anti-racists, I've mentioned them a few times. I'm not even sure what absolution racism writing is. And I disagree with your personal definition of whiteness, so I guess my writing will never satisfy you on that front. But again, every word I've written is out there for you to throw in my face. Show me something I've written that implies black people are making up racism. I dare you.
Lastly, I know it's off topic, but could you please try keep your replies a little shorter and to the point? I'm not trying to be bossy or rude, it's just that I'd actually like to understand your position, but this comment is almost as long as the original article, and each reply is getting longer. I'm having about thirty other conversations simultaneously right now. So if I'm spending five minutes reading your reply and then however long it takes to answer the ten different arguments you're making, evetually I'll just have to give up😅
