You just can’t do it can you? You can’t address reality at all. You just make up lies that make you feel better, even though everything I said is right there in black and white and I never said anything about what it means to be a Jew.
It’s like watching a drug addict desperately get his fix to shield himself from the harsh realities of the world. Only your drug is lies.
I also haven't said a word about the constitution and certainly haven't shit on anything. Though you sort of admit that you're just slinging random arguments others "on this blog" have made as if they have anything to do with me.
But yes, broadly speaking, I believe the world should be moral. I don't consider this a failing. I understand that morality is difficult, I understand that we also have to be pragmatic, I understand that we can all do better, but I understand that the cowards who hide behind lies and whataboutism have never, ever, in the history of humanity, ever done anything but made things worse. And slowed humanity's collective march away from things like slavery and colonialism and, not for nothing, Nazism.
The cowards at the Evian conference, for example, refusing to accept what would have been just 20,000 Jews in each country if I remember correctly, talked about pragmatism. "Oh, however shall we cope with this influx of refugees?" they asked. They talked about antisemitism in their own countries, as if this were something unavoidable and unfixable. As if people who said "fix it then," who understood that there was simply such a thing as "the right thing to do," were starry-eyed idealists who wanted to live "purely in a moral universe."
No, you coward, we are people who believe it's worth doing the hard work to make the universe even a little bit more moral. Even, heaven forbid, if it's ever so slightly inconvenient for us.
