You keep using the word "we" as if there' some consensus about what comes after. First, the idea that a 35%-50% of people are incapable of attaining our lofty standards of clear thinking is incredibly arrogant and lacking in self-awareness.
We're having this conversation because you claimed the Rittenhouse case was symptomatic of systemic racism. A claim you still haven't supported with any actual evidence. It's simply the impression you got from watching biased news coverage and you haven't reset yet.
This is what the vast majority of people with bad ideas are doing.
I have no desire to "get people to" think what I think. I have a desire for people to clearly understand what they think and why they think it. I want that thinking to be based on information which is as accurate and unbiased as possible. I want us to have intelligent, good-faith conversations about the issues. And then I want the best ideas to win.
I mean, seriously? "Getting people to act the way a clear-thinking person would act"?! Do you seriously not see the problem with this line of thinking? Who exactly gets to decide how this should be defined? This is pure totalitarian thinking.
