You're completely wrong about this. God, it's so frustrating how many people don't get this. "White people" aren't responsible for the actions of some white people. If I disliked white people as a group I would be racist. I'm not.

Believing that you can group people this way is the root of all racism. I don't care whether you're an African American or a Ukranian or a kid from Macedonia, if you look at a person and judge them by the actions of other people with the same colour skin, then you are a racist. It's that simple. Why is this so hard to understand?

I don't care what you think about me, I care what you think about other black people in general. I care that you think that the solution to racist policing is to “hire more black police officers”. I care that it's 2021 and people's thinking about racism is still this shallow and bigoted.

There's a huge difference between a female officer being searched by a female officer and the idea that a black suspect should be dealt with by a black officer. Don't you see tha this is the exact same logic that led to segregation in the US?

Try starting from the point of view that black people are ordinary people. Just the same as all the white people you know. Just like your family or your best friends. Now imagine that some people hate them for some stupid reason. Maybe the colour of their hair or the hsape of their nose.

This is all racism is. The idea that people should be hated or treated differently because of some random, harmless aspect of their body that they can't change. It's not "understandable". As long as people think this way we'll never move forward.
