You've missed the sarcasm here. This was a joke, based on what she wrote in her article. That's why it's in quotes.

And no, I'm not saying that white people aren't worth my attention, not at all. I'm saying that if somebody believes they can deny a black person's identity because they don't think how she tells them to, then I don't care about her opinion. The sentence you've quoted only makes sense if you read it in the context of the whole paragraph.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language, I'm not criticising you for that at all, but it means you've misunderstood a lot of what I've written and you're taking offence based on that misunderstanding.
