Yup. And even more tragic for me is watching somebody I deeply respect, like Jon Stewart, talk so incoherently about this stuff. I can’t understand how these issues so consistently rot people's brains. And I'm really trying. I'm constantly asking myself if I'm missing something, but every time I talk to a true believer it becomes clearer and clearer that there's nothing behind the curtain. People just can't, or are afraid, to think.
